Rule XXII, Section 1 Religious Service, Para A of the Cadet guide otherwise known as the 'Maroon and Gold Book' of the Philippine National Police Academy:
"Each Cadet shall attend Sunday service scheduled for the religious denomination to which he/she is affiliated."
Worship Service is our duty to our Almighty God and also our duty to the PNP through its program "KASIMBAYANAN"(Kapulisan - Simbahan - Pamayanan) which is a community mobilization program that emphasizes the synergistic and cooperative relationship between the PNP and the general public through the intervention and assistance of the religious sector toward the goal of a comprehensive transformation involving the PNP and the community it serves and protects.
Worship services help us to prepare for a life of service, which is the ultimate goal of PNPA training. By nurturing their faith and values, Cadets can become better equipped to serve with honor and distinction and to uphold the ideals of a Public Safety Officer. The rigors of PNPA training can be physically and emotionally tiring thus as the Cadet-In-Charge of the IGLESIA NI CRISTO it is my responsibility to look after my dear brethren. through worship services, it can provide us space to find solace, reflect, and seek comfort during difficult times. Worship services help us nurture the moral and spiritual development of Cadets, instilling values such as discipline, integrity, and selflessness. These values are essential for anyone serving in a law enforcement agency that upholds the rule of law.
Participating in worship services can also help us to develop personal qualities, such as self-discipline, integrity, and leadership skills. By engaging in regular worship and by following religious principles, Cadets can build character and develop the qualities that will be important in their future careers as police officers. it also provides an opportunity for Cadets to reflect on their spiritual beliefs, connect with a higher power, and deepen their spiritual understanding.
To sum up, worship services are important to PNPA Cadets because they provide spiritual growth, personal development, moral guidance, and emotional support. By participating in worship services, Cadets can develop the qualities and skills that will be important in their future careers as police officers, and they can find comfort and support in a community of like-minded individuals.
